Ukrainian Bulava — Cossack Symbol of Power
The Bulava was a part of the Ukrainian Cossack regalia. In the Ukrainian language, a булава (bulava) is a mace or club, in both the military and ceremonial senses — a symbol of power. The Bulava was one of the weapons of the Ukrainian Cossack military commanders, and in modern times it is part of the rank of generals or admirals in the Ministry of Defense.
