The Space:

Patriots Bend is a historic farm listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Virginia Landmarks Register–prominently situated on one of the famous Seven Bends of the Shenandoah River. The historic property dates back to the Revolutionary and Civil Wars and has over 90 acres of woods and pastures, as well as an early century barn and outhouse. It also has a full mile of Shenandoah River frontage with a dedicated camping area beside the river with soaring views of the mountains. River tubing, kayaking, or standup paddle boarding is best from Memorial Day to Independence Day when river levels are higher; but the fishing is great year round! Delicious, edible berries are plentiful throughout the farm during the summer and wildlife spotted on the property includes: deer, foxes, bald eagles, turkeys, hawks, ducks, geese, doves, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, groundhogs, chipmunks, and squirrels.

The farm is less than 10 minutes driving to Seven Bends State Park, Muse Vineyards, Shenandoah Vineyards, Filibuster Distillery, Woodstock Brewhouse, and the wonderful Woodstock Cafe.

Three bedrooms each contain queen beds in order to sleep up to six (6) guests. An additional bunk room in the basement has four bunk beds in order to sleep eight (8) guests. Since the house is on a well and septic system, we limit the number of guests to 8.
